My five-year-old granddaughter asked me the length of time it could be before her household moved in their brand new home. Since six weeks is hard for a five-year-old to know, I took her up to a wall calendar and showed her the length of time until going time. Now, every day, as she marks off calendar squares one at a time, she can see just how long before the waiting is finished.
